There was once a boy who started high school in the middle of the year. He immediately made some new friends but they experimented with drugs and alcohol and they pressured him to do the same.

One morning they told the boy, “If you want to be friends with us then you need to smoke marijuana with us.”

The boy was hesitant to smoke marijuana with these new friends. So he said, “I can’t smoke marijuana today because I have to help my Mom wash the dishes. I will smoke marijuana with you tomorrow.”

The next morning came and the boys’ friends cornered him right away. “You said you would smoke marijuana with us today.”

He said, “I know I said that. I’ll smoke marijuana with you tomorrow. Today I have to help my Dad mow the yard.”

This continued on and on, day after day. The boy always said he would smoke marijuana with them tomorrow.

Finally, one morning his friends became frustrated. One of them said, “If you don’t smoke marijuana with us tomorrow we’ll beat you up.”

The next morning came and the boy wasn’t at school, but the police were. It seems that the boy was an undercover narcotics officer.

Tomorrow he will start a new school and make some new friends that smoke marijuana.
